Lesic-Camper is a PR firm looking for a fresh take on the traditional headshot for their website redesign. Needless to say, they were all naturals.
Chelsea is a talented actress, and we wanted to capture her feminine beauty and sophistication - so we did a combination of more traditional head shots and glamor-style photography.
Creative Mornings is a monthly event for creative people that has chapters all over the country (and world!). Every month there is a different theme, and every chapter finds a different speaker to touch on that theme. This particular event was based on the idea of "INK."
Another amazingly talented classmate of mine, Olivia is another member of the 4th Wall Acting Studio to jump in front of my lens. She needed some updated headshots to rock the audition circuit.

Cosmo was a little wary of having his shoot outside in an urban area, but quickly relaxed and was absolutely phenomenal in front of the camera. His images were used for promoting and marketing his mortgage lending business. I think he could moonlight for GQ if he really wanted to, though...
Korby is the kind of guy you want to know if you want to feel like you've done nothing with your life (I mean that in the best way possible). The man is a talented, touring musician, a brilliantly clever writer, and now an aspiring actor. It only makes sense that modeling, too, would come naturally to him. I think I'm going to challenge him to take up modern dance just to prove a point.

John is the director of an amazing community organization working to improve the Glenville neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio. I started working with the Famicos Foundation taking photos of the homes they rehabbed, but when they asked me to do John's headshots I was delighted to oblige.
Why is this little peach in the "professional" category, you ask? Well, Edie here is pictured in the actor's headshots she got for her upcoming role in Billy Elliot. Who am I to say she's not a professional?
When I'm not taking photos, I'm working hard at pursuing another creative passion: acting. I've had the great fortune of meeting so many other talented people through the 4th Wall Acting studio here in Nashville - David here included. He needed updated headshots, and I'm hoping these will help him get all sorts of casting calls!!

The City of Beachwood hired me to take a series of photos capturing notable members of their community - the images were then used as the basis for a series of ads featured in Crain's Cleveland. All of these individuals were lovely people, and it was a lot of fun getting to capture them all in their environments, as well as hearing about all of their amazing accomplishments.
Spero-Smith is a financial advising firm that onboarded three new employees - who in turn needed photos for their website. I was tasked with staying consistent to the existing staff photos, as well as getting a few "environmental" shots. There is nothing funnier than telling someone to "pretend to work" in front of the camera. Trust me.
Ryan here is uh. may. zing. Self-starting online marketing consultant, and just a blast to be around. He's got that kind of energy that just radiates warmth when you're around him, and I really wanted to capture that in his photos. Can't say that I did him complete justice, but you get the picture.
I've worked with real estate agents, general contractors, home builders, and remodeling - and I absolutely loved all of it. I'm a bit of a design nerd, so I love seeing interesting architecture and interior design. Added bonus: my subjects don't move!
EDEN decided to throw a big 90s themed bash for their anniversary event this past year - which automatically gets my attention. There's nothing like the sight of neon and Dr. Martins to pull me back into nostalgic bliss. So when they asked me to run a photo booth, I was pretty thrilled. I mean, look at those props! I guess I also took photos at the rest of the event, too...
If you haven't yet checked out Creative Mornings, you should really do so. While these are from the Cleveland chapter's event, there is also a Nashville group. This particular talk was about Ethics, but they cover all different topics as they pertain to the creative community. Every one I've ever been to has been both interesting and informative.
Also, free coffee and breakfast pastries so...
Before we move on, I have no ties to any political party - I am a proud independent, open to hearing the views of any candidate or community leader with rationality and compassion. I found myself working with the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County following some issue campaign work I did previously, and I work with organizations of all different backgrounds and belief systems. That's what keeps this job so interesting!
When the RPCC told me this guy Ben Carson was going to be at the large dinner they were having me photograph, it didn't register that I would be seeing him all over the news for many months after.
Clearly he was not voted to be the president of these great United States of America, but it's pretty interesting to have seen him in action before things started getting really crazy. And regardless of your political affiliation, it's a cool energy to be around!
This organization has done wonders for the residents of the Glenville neighborhood, and I've been very fortunate to work with them in many capacities in the past. These particular photos capture programming that they were involved in organizing - namely, a farmers market and yoga program. These images will be used in promotional materials and annual reports, illustrating the amazing things they are able to accomplish.
This strategic communications firm works with political campaigns and advocacy issues all over the country. They are some of the coolest people I've met - and I've been very fortunate to have worked with them on several projects in the past.
